posticon Welcome to my Workshop

Hi Folks,
I would like to thank Paul Gross for asking me to host this little nook in his new Hocus Pocus Forum.
I will be posting my inner thoughts in the realm of Creativity as well as Workshop Tips. I will be happy to answer any questions I can regarding Creativity and Manufacturing. I do NOT have all the answers but maybe enough to help you get through your next project.
Please do not be angry if I choose to hold back some tricks of the trade. After all, we all have to pay our dues in the shop and that includes you beginners emoticon
Let's hope this forum brings lots of Positive interaction and let the guys who like to pee in the punchbowl find another place to hang out!!
Take care
Chance Wolf

It will be great to chat up shop ideas when it comes to being a creative building magican. So for those who build or wish to build props and tricks, I hope you will feel welcomed to ask questions of all off us on this forum.

I'm stoked that you decided to become a regular here, Chance. One topic I'm interested in hearing more about is how you set a price for an item.

Would you also consider extending the topic to the improvement of off-the-shelf props? I Enjoy rebuilding many of the effects that I have purchased. Some changes are minor and others may be a major overhaul.

Kurt and Ken,
You both have hit two great topics. I will post new threads for each topic and let's see where it goes.
Welcome to the shop!

Double Hole Wrist Chopper

Recently I watched a well known performer use a Double Hole Wrist Chopper. The volunteer figured out how the trick was accomplished and quietly told her friends upon returning to her seat. I have never had this problem. If any of my peers are using the Double Hole Wrist Chopper may I suggest that you paint the inside of the blade holes flat black. Also remove the top of the handle and paint the top edge of the blade black. This will prevent any of your volunteers from seeing the secret gimmick.
